About Me

PASSION. EXPERIENCE. PERFECTION.

My name is Mohamed El Zokm, a professional painter and decorative finishes specialist. My journey began in 1993 in Brescia, Italy, where I developed my craft in Venetian Plaster, Marmorino and high-end decorative finishing.

Over the years I have worked on hotel and luxury residential projects in Italy, France and the United States, with hands-on experience in traditional and contemporary Italian decorative materials. I believe the best result comes from careful preparation, premium materials and performing every specialty-finish step with patience and precision.

Know The Material

UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE INVESTING IN

A specialty finish is more than a color on a wall. Every material has its own history, mineral or modern composition, application method and visual behavior. Each project gallery below explains the origin, what the finish is made from and why the result differs from ordinary paint.

Craftsmanship changes the surface.
Preparation, layering, trowel pressure, drying time, burnishing and final protection can all affect depth, reflection, texture and durability. The goal is to help clients understand the material before choosing the finish.

ITALIAN PRODUCTS & TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

During my years working in Brescia, Italy, I applied decorative systems whose Italian product names are less familiar to many U.S. clients. I include them here as part of my hands-on technical background—not as a claim that I distribute these products today.

Worked with in Italy

Antiche Terre Fiorentine

CANDIS • Italy

CANDIS established Antiche Terre Fiorentine as a reference point in the Italian decorative-paint market in the early 1990s. The system became known for refined antique and aged effects and helped bring layered Italian decorative finishes into contemporary interiors.

Malta Antica

Turra Malte Colorate • Erbusco, Brescia

Turra has produced colored natural mortars since 1967. Its Malta Antica is a lime-based, pre-colored powder using selected marble granules, river sand, lime, cement, coloring earths, cellulose and iron oxides, applied in multiple steel-trowel coats to create a smooth, shaded mineral surface.

Product names are shown to document professional experience with Italian materials. Availability and formulas can change by manufacturer and market.
